Benefit eligibility for:

Vacation benefits are provided to all full-time nonunion employees. The amount of vacation is based upon length of employment.

Vacation time must be used in the academic year in which it is earned and may not be carried over into the next academic year. Vacation time is accrued for each month of completed service and must be taken in the same academic year. 

All vacation time must be both approved and recorded by the staff member’s supervisor/department.

Compensation in place of taking vacation time is not permitted.

Vacation for union-represented employees is covered in the collective bargaining agreements.
