Family and Medical Leave (FMLA)
The University will grant eligible employees leave under the FMLA for up to 12 workweeks during any 12-month period.
Under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) of 1993, the University provides the opportunity for employees who have been employed for at least 12 months to receive up to 12 weeks in a 12-month period without pay for their own illness or the illness of a family member (as defined in the act).
