Compressed Summer Workweek
An opt-in program for employees to enjoy greater flexibility and work-life balance during the summer months.
Running from June 3 through August 9, 2024, this program offers flexible scheduling options for eligible employees, allowing you to enjoy more free time on Fridays without impacting your accrued paid time off (PTO).
How it works:
- Work regular hours Monday through Friday.
- Take a 30-minute lunch break instead of one hour.
- End work 2.5 hours earlier on Friday without affecting accrued paid time off (PTO).
To get started, go to your My Profile: Paid Time Off service in eCampus, and opt-in to the Compressed Workweek once the program is made available in the system.
Program Eligibility
Available to all full-time and part-time nonunion and Local 153 Adelphi University employees.
