Attending the Women’s Leadership Conference is a great way to gain exposure to high-profile speakers who can inspire and motivate attendees to reach their goals. The conference also brings together a diverse group of women with various backgrounds and experiences allowing you to connect with other like-minded individuals and expand your professional network. Participants of the conference will receive an accredible badge which can be proudly showcased on resumes, email signatures, and LinkedIn.
The conference is free for all Adelphi students, as well as high school students. There is a non-student conference fee of $30 for in-person attendees and a $10 fee for virtual attendees. There is an additional $20 fee for those who wish to attend the dinner.
The Women’s Leadership Conference is a professional event and we encourage participants to wear business attire.
By attending the Women’s Leadership Conference, you will have exposure to a diverse group of leaders with an abundance of experience to share.
You will have the opportunity to learn about new opportunities and receive guidance on how to advance in your current role or how to pursue another opportunity. You may also meet potential mentors who can offer advice and support as you navigate your career.
The topics discussed at the Women’s Leadership Conference can vary depending on the event, but generally, they focus on leadership, career development, and personal growth. Additionally, topics may include leadership development, diversity and inclusion, personal growth and wellness, and industry-specific topics such as STEM fields.
The Women’s Leadership Conference is typically held from noon to evening but specific hours may vary as per this year’s schedule.
The Women’s Leadership Conference will be held in person at Adelphi University’s Garden City campus.
Please note that there will be a virtual option for sessions for those who cannot attend in person.
The Women’s Leadership Conference is open to all ages. At the high school level, we recommend students in their sophomore, junior and senior years.
