Adelphi created the Career Closet to provide any interested student with professional men’s and women’s work attire for interviews, conferences and other professional opportunities. Last year the conference collected more than 160 donated items.

Students are encouraged to come by and choose from professional attire, including suits, blazers, trousers, blouses, dresses, shoes, and accessories. Items are clean, in good condition, and washed or dry-cleaned before donating.

Donations of men’s and women’s clothing are always welcome.

The conference, co-hosted by Adelphi’s Advancement and External Relations and Office of Student Affairs, is open to the public as well as members of the Adelphi community including students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents and friends of the University.

The Women's Leadership Conference is part of the Leadership Certificate Program for current Adelphi students.
