How to Order Textbooks
Book orders will need to be placed online directly from the bookstore’s website. Follow these steps:
- Select Textbooks from the top menu.
- Select your program, term and department.
- View exactly what you need for each class and add to your cart.
Books ordered online will be delivered to the bookstore for pickup at no additional charge. You can also opt to have your order shipped to your home for an additional fee.
Extra time should be allowed for processing and shipping. Books ordered at the last minute can take up to 72 hours for delivery.
Merchandise and Apparel
You can shop for Adelphi apparel, gear and other merchandise at the bookstore.

The Adelphi University bookstore is the official store for all things Adelphi. The bookstore works directly with faculty to provide materials for class with many cost saving options, such as used books, rental and digital options. Visit the Textbook page for more information.
Books can be ordered at AdelphiBookstore.com OR, when viewing your courses in eCampus, you can click “View Textbooks” from your schedule.
Yes! Cash is accepted for purchases through the university bookstore. Please visit the Adelphi University bookstore located in the UC and someone from the bookstore staff will be able to assist.
The university bookstore does not stock books on campus. However you can place an order online and your books/materials can either be sent to the bookstore for free to be picked up on campus, or you can choose to have them shipped for a small shipping fee. View more information about shipping.

You can track your bookstore order within 24-48 hours of placing your order. You will need your order number and the email address used to place your order.
Textbook purchases made at the beginning of a semester through the add/drop date are eligible for a full refund if they are in original condition with the proof of purchase. Yes! The University bookstore buys books back from students for cash, in store and online. Cash value is based on upcoming term need, and condition of the book. A valid student ID is required for all buy back transactions completed in store. Learn more about selling your textbooks online.
