At the Adelphi University School of Social Work, we have a rich history of developing creative University-community partnerships. Through these mutually enriching partnerships, our faculty is actively engaged in developing and evaluating new programs and service models. Along with our students, they participate in research and study to inform social policy, program and services delivery and social work practice.

Breast Cancer Hotline and Support
The Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program is the nation’s first and oldest hotline that has been providing support and community to those battling breast cancer and their families for over 40 years.
Center for Nonprofit Leadership
The Center for Nonprofit Leadership offers solutions for nonprofit organizations and training for nonprofit leaders on management, leadership, and supervision. Through innovative training, coaching, and resources, we assist in developing the nonprofit workforce to strengthen organizational capacity for effective service on Long Island, NY.
Institute for Adolescent Trauma Treatment and Training
Through its focus on the treatment of adolescent trauma, the School of Social Work is making a positive impact on the lives of young people who have experienced traumatic events.
