Adelphi University has developed and implemented policies and emergency plans to keep the campus community safe and secure.
Advisory Committee on Campus Security
- SECTION 6431 of NYS Education Law 129-A requires a committee of appointed student, faculty and staff members to review campus security policies and procedures. The committee will review policies and procedures at least (1) time per year and make recommendations for their improvement. The committee shall review:
- Policies for campus response to sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking and hate crimes.
- Procedures for referrals to appropriate authorities.
- Policies for educating the campus community about safety and crime.
