Office of Research & Sponsored Programs FAQs
Institutional Review Board (IRB) FAQs
The Institutional Review Board meets monthly on the fourth Monday of the month.
Proposals to the Institutional Review Board are always due on the 10th of the month. If that falls on a weekend, then the proposal would be due the following Monday.
Institutional Review Board information, including forms, templates and other guidance, can be found on the IRB’s webpages.
The IRB will consider new research or a return to in-person research on a case-by-case basis. All in-person research on campus is subject to Adelphi University’s COVID-19 procedures.
