Online registration for students enrolled in graduate programs.

Prepare for Registration

Planning

If your department requires academic approvals, check with them to schedule a meeting time. This will probably occur approximately two weeks before registration begins. Your departmental adviser will be able to log on to the system, help you select your courses, and give departmental approval. You will then log on to the system (at your appointed time) and submit your registration.

If your department does not require approvals, just log on at your appointed time, select, and submit your classes.

Fall and Spring Registration

After you log in to CLASS, click on My Registration to begin.

The My Registration page will allow you to register, add, or drop classes for a term.

Enter the system at your appointed time, and you can register (add) a course by course number or by searching for a class (using department or start time). Once you are satisfied with your classes, click on the Submit button. You will then be registered.

Your course confirmation is available as soon as your registration submission is accepted.

Note: Classroom assignments periodically change. Please look at your confirmation again, right before classes begin.

Intersession Registration

After you log in to CLASS, click on My Registration to begin.

Registration Limit

Only one course may be taken during Intersession.

Registration Requirements

All students registering for courses must meet all financial obligations relating to the registration, be in compliance with the New York State Immunization Law, and meet all the course requirements (prerequisites and other conditions stated in the course schedule) before registering. The University reserves the rights to enforce all regulations related to registration at any time.

Students who have holds on their registration must have them cleared by the registration deadline date in order to register. Course availability will be determined as of the day the block is cleared, not the day the registration was received (unless received after the block is cleared). This includes immunization, admissions, academic, and financial blocks. No exceptions will be made.

Summer Registration

After you log in to CLASS, click on My Registration to begin.

Registration Limit

Students may register for a maximum of 6 credits during each five-week session or a total of 12 credits during the entire summer semester. Requests to exceed this maximum must be approved by the student’s advisor and the Office of Academic Services.

The New York State Immunization Law requires all students born after 1956, who are taking six or more credits, to prove immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella. Course registration and attendance at Adelphi University will not be possible without clearance by the Health Services Center. Students taking six or more credits must complete the Meningococcal Meningitis Response Form and return it to the Adelphi University Health Services Center. Students can complete this form online by logging in to CLASS via eCampus and clicking on the meningitis link in the menu.

Students in the College of Professional and Continuing Studies, Manhattan Center, Hudson Valley Center or Suffolk Centers, please check with your academic departments for registration dates and times.
