The Middle States accreditation process at Adelphi University is guided by strong leadership and a collaborative effort across faculty, staff and administration.

Executive Steering Committee

Our Executive Steering Committee (ESC) is composed of Adelphi’s Accreditation Liaison Officer from Middle States and senior faculty and staff members with University and accreditation experience. The ESC oversees the writing, gathering, completion and submission of the final Self-Study Report.

Working Groups

Our Working Groups will analyze Adelphi’s compliance with MSCHE standards, identifying strengths, challenges, and opportunities for improvement and innovation. Their findings, supported by evidence, will be submitted to the Steering Committee for review and potential inclusion in the Self-Study Report. There is a working group dedicated to each of the seven MSCHE standards and one for verification of compliance.
