Faculty Recognition and Awards

Every year, Adelphi University recognizes and celebrates the contributions of its faculty with the presentation of the Faculty Excellence Awards. Awards are given in three categories—teaching, service and scholarly and creative work.

Adelphi awards a variety of annual Faculty Development Grants for full-time tenure-track and tenured.

The Frederick Bettelheim Research Award is awarded annually to a junior faculty member in the Natural Sciences.

Each year, Adelphi University faculty members are invited to submit examples of their fascinating scholarly and creative work for the opportunity to be honored and featured in specially produced videos that delve into their projects.
