A minor in biology provides students with a broad background in biology while allowing them significant flexibility to choose courses of interest. The National Science Foundation (NSF) Division of Undergraduate Education has awarded Adelphi University and Principal Investigator Andrea Ward, PhD, associate provost for research and special projects, a $2.49 million grant for the “Ensuring STEM Student Success Through an Integrative Support Program.”

Exceptional Hands-On Learning

Research is a major part of a biology program at Adelphi in New York. Students have the opportunity to participate in Adelphi’s annual Research and Creative Works Conference to showcase their work to faculty and the rest of our community.
