Spanish BA Degree Map

¹Students will be placed in appropriate language level after evaluation of previous work. They may have to take SPA 111/112/121. Students have to take additional 3 credits if they test out of 122.

²SPA 251 is not open to native Spanish speakers.

• Attend Spirit Weekend! Enjoy the annual celebration of Adelphi Pride with your family.
• Engage in campus events and programs. Log on to Handshake and start developing your profile. Visit your professors during office hours to ask for help if struggling.

• If you live on campus, run for the Executive Board of the Residential Student Association
• Volunteer in the Panther Pantry! Give back to the Adelphi community and address food insecurity needs, learn more here!
• Join a Greek Life or Social Fellowship organization! Learn how you can find your home here.
• Become involved with the Multilingual Experience Club, and run for a leadership position once you feel acclimated to the group.

• If you live on campus, apply to be an Resident Assistant
• Apply to be a Peer Assistant Leader (PAL) or FCAP leader!
• Time to take a bigger role! Run for an executive board position in an organization you are apart of.
• Prepare your resume and your LinkedIn profile, and have them reviewed by a counselor at the Center for Career and Professional Development.

• If you have lived on campus, apply for the National Residence Hall Honorary
• Look into a study abroad program that allows you to cultivate your passions.
• You made it! Time to celebrate by attending Senior Week Events.
• Sign up for the Leadership Certificate Program. Build your Linkedin profile and meet with the Center for Career and Professional Development to get ideas on conducting a job search.
