Sociology BA Degree Map

Credits to Graduate with a BA in Sociology
120
A Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology requires 120 credits. With 5 classes a semester, this puts you on track to graduate in 4 years. A minimum gpa of 2.0 is required.
Credits for Major in Sociology
38
To complete the major, 38 credits are required. All 20 core credits are taken in sociology. 15 credits are taken in electives in sociology and 3 credits are taken as elective in anthropology. Sociology is an approved major for STEP students, consult with your advisors for course selection. Additionally, up to 12 credits may be taken in a foreign language.
General Education Credits Required for a BA in Sociology
