Explore how ideas about gender and sexuality shape social roles, laws, institutions and creative work.
The gender and sexuality studies minor is an interdisciplinary studies program.
A minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies offers students an understanding of gender- and sexuality-related issues throughout history and in modern times–from gender roles and stereotypes to the social organization and politicization of human sexuality. You will analyze how race, class, social-economic status, and other factors intersect with gender and sexuality and influence the ideas and practices that surround them.
