I have already begun applying much of what I learned to situations that have developed on the job and with the nonprofit boards on which I serve. Leading in Community gave me new perspectives on my role as a leader, manager, and board member. The supplemental materials made a huge difference. Dr. Leander did a great job coordinating this class, and also teaching the material in a way that it was relevant to me and the other participants. The other instructors were also very thorough and well prepared.
My personal growth and confidence have had measurable results. I have already begun to use strategies and techniques that I have learned as a direct deliverable of this program.
My personal thanks and appreciation for the marvelous job you did in assisting Sustainable Long Island through the process of interim to new leadership.
Anne Marie’s experience and expertise have been invaluable to me and my organization.
Anne Marie is an excellent facilitator and gladly shares her wealth of knowledge with us. I always leave the meetings with targeted actionable ideas.
We can’t thank you enough for the, once again, excellent training which you provided for our Board. You always take the time and make the effort to give us that special individual attention.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (LICADD), I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to you and your team at Adelphi University–Long Island Center for Nonprofit Leadership for expertly conducting our executive search and for guiding our strategic planning process.
I attended the Cultural Arts Forum on Tuesday and I just want to say how inspiring and motivating your discussion was. The information you passed out was so helpful and will definitely be a great resource.
I just wanted to thank you for facilitating a great meeting yesterday for the QC. Based on the discussion, I feel confident that this group can reorganize, re-energize, and be more productive.
On behalf of Adelphi University’s inaugural 2010 Civil Society in America Program, we would like to thank you for taking the time to speak to our students and share your expertise and insights. Your lecture has greatly enriched our program and has helped our students better understand the contemporary study and practice of American civil society.
