Yonah Orlofsky, Communication Sciences and Disorders doctoral candidate, was the keynote speaker for Adelphi’s Doctoral Hooding Ceremony held on Friday, May 19, 2017. This was the first time a student has been invited to address the Doctoral Robing Ceremony.
Orlofsky graduated summa cum laude from Touro College in 2012 with a bachelor of science degree. He has specialized in diagnosing, assessing and treating hearing loss and balance disorders, fostering a passion for understanding his patient’s needs and helping them improve their quality of life. He is a member of the Student Academy of Audiology and has served as a research, graduate and teacher’s assistant during his tenure as a student.
Orlofsky is eager to begin his professional career using the tools he has acquired at the Long Island Doctor of Audiology Consortium. We are so proud to have him represent our community!
