The Intercultural Connections program's Election Research Project encourages students from all over the globe to participate September 1-November 8 .
Whether that question intrigues or incites you, one thing is certain. It’s not going to happen! Not in public polling places, anyway.
But what if Adelphi staged its own election, in which American and international students could all cast their votes? Who would win? And what would we learn in the process?
Well, we’re about to find out, because starting this fall the Intercultural Connections program will pilot its new Election Research Project where interested students from all over the globe will study the candidates’ platforms, assess their underlying values, and decide who they think would best lead the nation and influence the world.
It all begins on September 1 and ends November 8 at the Learning Center in the new Nexus building.
