After losing a job he had for nearly 10 years, Robert Chinosi decided that a degree “could bring me more opportunities in my career and my life.” So he went back to college. “I wish I had finished when I was younger,” he says, “but I’m so glad I came back now to get my degree. Experiencing this as an adult gave me a better appreciation for school and learning.” Once he earns his bachelor’s, he plans to pursue a master’s degree at Adelphi. “With the economy being so unstable and the job market so competitive,” Mr. Chinosi says, “I truly believe getting an education is key.” He likes not only UC’s variety of programs but also “a flexible schedule that allows you to work and go to school at the same time.” He also praises the advisers and the hands-on approach they provide.” Looking ahead, he would like to pursue “something in the fine arts field…In this field, there are so many different directions you can go.”
