February 9, 2015 - A phishing scam with the subject line is “IT Service Notification” recently reached our network.
The IT department is aware of a phishing message that is currently circulating. The message subject line is “IT Service Notification” and the message body claims that email accounts have exceeded their storage capacity. If you received the message, please mark it as Phishing by following the instructions at
support.google.com/accounts/answer/75061.
Please note: Adelphi University uses Google Mail, which has no storage restrictions.
