Katelyn Murch is a member of the Web Communications team at Adelphi.
The staff of the Office of Information Technology would like to congratulate Katelyn Murch as the February 2018 IT Student Worker of the Month.
Katelyn is a senior Computer Science major who’s been working with the Web Communications team since Summer 2017.
She was an active member of Adelphi’s Environmental Action Coalition which initiated campus-wide environmental awareness programs and fundraisers.

“Katelyn is a very dedicated student worker. She is eager to learn new things and a great asset to have watching our team’s inbox. I know that I can depend on her to get the job quickly and correctly.”
“Katelyn has been instrumental in our team success since she’s started. She makes it a point to do as many tasks in order to help the team run smoothly, and is always willing to do any additional work that is asked of her. We’re lucky to have Katelyn working for us.”
“Kate has been increasingly advancing in the type of projects and issues she resolves. Shortly after she came on board, she began diving into complex issues and is always willing to tackle any projects or assignments, big and small. She is truly part of the team and someone we can count on to help us stay on track.”
About IT’s Employee of the Month Nominations
It is important to demonstrate our appreciation for the contributions of our student workers to their teams, to the Office of Information Technology, and to Adelphi University as a whole. At the end of each month, we will honor one student worker who has demonstrated commitment, leadership, and initiative in their position. The recipient will be presented with a certificate and gift, as well as a featured spot on our IT website.
All IT employees (including student workers) are encouraged to submit nominations for their choice for Student Worker of the Month. Your nominee should display qualities deserving of recognition.
