Manhattan Center Social Action Toy Drive Optimized

The weather may have been warm, but for children at the Prince Hall Day Care Center at the Polo Ground Housing Project in Harlem, May 21, 2014, felt like December. That day, the student members of the Adelphi University Manhattan Center School of Social Work’s Social Action group, along with Tracy Avon Ford ’94, M.S.W. ’97, a field instructor and adjunct professor, and Aixa Rodriguez, student affairs coordinator, brought the children more than 100 toys that had been collected as part of a drive at Adelphi’s Manhattan Center.

This event was made possible with help of the Harlem community group, The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge.
