IT Student Worker of the Month

Jeanenne Campbell is a member of the Web Communications team.

The staff of the Office of Information Technology would like to congratulate Jeanenne Campbell as the November 2017 IT Student Worker of the Month.

Campbell is a Computer Science major in the Class of 2018, and has been working with the Web Communications team for three years. She has also been an assistant for the Adelphi Pre-College Game Development program.

Here are some of the comments we received from IT staff members and other student workers who nominated her:

“Jeanenne is such a hard worker, and is extremely polite and friendly. She works hard and is willing to take on new challenges.”

“Last summer, she took over our @adelphitech Instagram account and documented her experience instructing video game programming and development to high schoolers enrolled in Adelphi’s Pre-College program. She was able to have fun and share her love of coding to others!”

“We’re grateful that we’ve had Jeanenne as part of our team since she transferred to Adelphi three years ago. She is a hard worker and eager to help others in any way that she can. Jeanenne is very friendly and easy to talk to, making the office atmosphere fun and enjoyable. She also asks very thoughtful questions to make sure she is doing every task right. She is a true asset to the Web Communications team!”

“Jeanenne is a stunning student, worker and individual. In addition to being a well-liked peer and an exceptional computer science student, she excels as a web development assistant, helping to support the raw code behind each page of Adelphi’s website. Jeanenne is working toward a future in the video game industry creating gaming interfaces which are efficient and user friendly.

“Jeanenne is hardworking and very eager to learn new things. She has grown so much since she has begun working for us.”

“You can always rely on Jeanenne to get a job done and make sure she’s doing it right. She’s also great to have in the office and can a smile to anyone’s face.”

About IT’s Employee of the Month Nominations

It is important to demonstrate our appreciation for the contributions of our student workers to their teams, to the Office of Information Technology, and to Adelphi University as a whole. At the end of each month, we will honor one student worker who has demonstrated commitment, leadership, and initiative in their position. The recipient will be presented with a certificate and gift, as well as a featured spot on our IT website.

All IT employees (including student workers) are encouraged to submit nominations for their choice for Student Worker of the Month. Your nominee should display qualities deserving of recognition.
