Travis Ng, Student Worker of the Month for July 2017
The staff of the Office of Information Technology would like to congratulate Travis on his achievements.
Travis is a Computer Science major in the Class of 2019, and a member of the Endpoint Integration team.

“Travis has only been a part of the Endpoint group for a short time, and already is an intricate member of the team. I remember when Travis went to another university, and not Adelphi. We joke with him, asking when he was coming to Adelphi. He transferred to Adelphi this year. What most stands out, is his positive must do attitude. He is polite to the customers, and addresses their needs right away, as well as gathering all the information to get the job done.
When asked to go on a job, he gladly accepts the job. You only have to tell Travis how to do something once, and it usually gets done right the first time, and follows up with any details, before leaving for the day. We are lucky to have someone like Travis on the team. This is what I believe he should be nominated for the student of the month.”
About IT’s Employee of the Month Nominations
It is important to demonstrate our appreciation for the contributions of our student workers to their teams, to the Office of Information Technology, and to Adelphi University as a whole. At the end of each month, we will honor one student worker who has demonstrated commitment, leadership, and initiative in their position. The recipient will be presented with a certificate and gift, as well as a featured spot on our IT website.
All IT employees (including student workers) are encouraged to submit nominations for their choice for Student Worker of the Month. Your nominee should display qualities deserving of recognition.
