Dear Adelphi Community,
The Public Safety Patch Project – Sticker Edition supports meaningful causes year-round, raises money for diverse groups and organizations at Adelphi, and creates opportunities for engagement, conversation and learning. Our stickers continue to be a hit; thank you for your continued support!
October is breast cancer awareness month and brings back our original patch. Our Pink Patch was launched in 2020 by Sergeant Gerry Lennon of Adelphi’s Department of Public Safety and Transportation.
Our Pink Patch sticker raises funds for the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program. It also aims to spark dialogue, promote awareness of our hotline and support services, and emphasize the crucial role of early detection in battling breast cancer.
How to get your Pink patch:
You can purchase your patch online or pick one up in person at the Public Safety Office in Levermore Hall, Room 113 or the Public Safety Community Affairs Office in the Ruth S. Harley University Center, Room 104.
