Gary P. Carpenter, CPA

Carpenter has a diverse background in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining the firm, he founded his own health care consulting firm. He also was Vice President of Finance at a national health care corporation. He has worked with health care companies throughout the nation in a variety of areas including corporate organizational issues, profit maximization and representation before Medicare and Medicaid government representatives on various reimbursement issues.

He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare industry and has worked with numerous hospitals on their expansion plans into the home health care industry. He is also a frequent speaker at both local and national healthcare conferences.

Gary is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He is also a board member of Siena College, VNA Long Island and a member of the National Association for Home Care, serving with the Financial Managers Group. In addition, he is on the Advisory Board of the Multiple Sclerosis Society (L.I. Chapter) and a Trustee of the Environmental Center of Smithtown. He also serves on the Pastoral Council of the St. Patrick Church. Previously, he was on the board of St. Patrick School and served as an Associate Trustee of North Shore University Hospital. He is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs.

Gary earned a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Adelphi University.
