English Department Writing Contests

The English Department announces six writing contests.  Please see attachments for contest details and prizes.

Deadline is April 11.

• The Donald Axinn Awards in Creative Writing for Poetry (separate Graduate and Undergraduate competitions)
• The Donald Axinn Awards in Creative Writing for Fiction (separate Graduate and Undergraduate competitions)
• The Joan Yaeger Dudley Award for Musical Theatre Lyric Writing (open to Undergraduates only)
• The Dramatic Writing Award (separate Graduate and Undergraduate competitions)
• The Prize for Best Literary Essay (open to Undergraduates only)
• The Robert Muroff Scholarship in Creative Writing (separate Graduate and Undergraduate competitions)
