Dr. Kenneth (K.C.) Rondello discusses the Ebola virus.
Adelphi University has released a video on the topic of Ebola with faculty member Dr. Kenneth (K.C.) Rondello. He is the Chair of the Department of Allied Health, College of Nursing and Public Health and the Academic Director for the Department of Emergency Management, University College and is a Disaster Epidemiologist, a physician who specializes in the response to emerging infections and other widespread medical crises. He has been deployed to over a dozen countries on four continents facing large scale evolving health emergencies such as Ebola.
Dr. Rondello shares the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones is by educating yourself using valid resources, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the World Health Organization. Being well informed will not only ease your anxiety and fear, but it will empower you to take action in educating others.
