Dr. Tom Diamante

Dr. Diamante brings 25 years of cross-industry human resources experience and manages the human capital consulting practice at cca in New York. He is formerly of Merrill Lynch, Vice President, of Corporate Strategy & Development in Global Securities Research & Economics. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Tom was Senior Manager and Lead Change Consultant for KPMG Consulting (BearingPoint). Earlier in his career, Tom was National Manager, Human Resources & Executive Development at Altria (Philip Morris Companies). Dr. Diamante served on the full-time business faculty at Adelphi University and adjunct faculty at The Derner Institute for Advanced Psychological Studies. He’s also taught for Cornell ILR (corporate programs), Columbia University, Mailman School for Public Health; Stony Brook University and Baruch College.

Tom’s experience reflects high-stakes, human-capital based, business risk and change management consultations. His research and practice focuses on the human side of product commercialization, venture development, culture-product alignment and business execution. Noteworthy engagements include screening candidates for leadership assignments (i.e., peacekeeping) in conflict-laden territories around the world (e.g., Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, E. Timor) and more broadly C-level assessments, coaching, employment discrimination prevention, employee engagement and enterprise-wide, change management. He is extensively published with premier book publishers and top tier journals.

Tom is Chairman of the Board of the Directors for ENACT.org, an educational innovator focused on at-risk NYC shoolchildren serving nearly 10,000 students per year. He is on the Advisory Board at the College of Business for Stony Brook University and is a member of the State Affairs Committee for Div. 14 of the American Psychological Association.
