As associate dean, she works to develop a variety of Honors workshops and courses to assist students with their skills in research and writing. In addition to her administrative duties as associate dean, she teaches writing, literature, intellectual history and Latin.

Diane Della Croce, Ph.D., received her Bachelor of Arts in English with honors from Adelphi University. After earning her master’s degree in education, Dr. Della Croce continued her studies in English at Stony Brook University, where she earned her doctoral degree. She was awarded the Marilyn and Ira Hechler English dissertation prize for her dissertation on the poetry of D.H. Lawrence, entitled “Lawrence Agonistes: Poet of Dialogue.” Before her appointment at Adelphi, Dr. Della Croce worked as a journalist and was an award-winning news reporter.

The author of articles on poetry and writing, Dr. Della Croce’s area of expertise is the use of technology in research and writing. As associate dean, she works to develop a variety of Honors workshops and courses to assist students with their skills in research and writing. In addition to her administrative duties as associate dean, she teaches writing, literature, intellectual history and Latin.
