Sepe performs as an orchestral and chamber musician throughout the United States.

Deborah Sepe: Cellist, is an active freelance musician and teacher in the New York area. Sepe performs as an orchestral and chamber musician throughout the United States. She has attended the Stern Grove Festival in California, the Aldeburgh Festival in England and toured with the Mostly Mozart Orchestra to Tokyo, Japan. She was Principal cellist of the Key West Symphony, The Berkshire Opera Company, The Connecticut Grand Opera & Orchestra for many years and has performed with the Lake George Opera Festival for several summers. She frequently performs with The Little Orchestra Society, The New York Pops and The Discovery Orchestra in many different venues including Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, New York City Center and BAM. She also performs regularly on Broadway and has played in over 25 Broadway shows. She is currently on call for Aladdin at the New Amsterdam Theater. She can be heard on 6 original Broadway cast albums for such shows as Marie Christine, The Spitfire Grill, My Life with Albertine, The Thing About Men, and The Frogs and Road Show.

Sepe has appeared with many popular artists and groups such as Il Divo, Celtic Thunder, Carole King, Regis Philbin, Susan Lucci, Steve & Eydie, Maureen McGovern, Joni Mitchell, Johnny Mathis, Diana Ross and Kanye West on SNL. She currently plays in a trio called the Mosaic Ensemble, which consists of piano, flute and cello. They have been together for 2 years and are enjoying learning and performing the repertoire for their ensemble.

Sepe received her B.M. and M.M. from the Mannes College of Music in Manhattan. She has had a private studio of students for almost 30 years and has been on faculty at Adelphi University since 2010. She resides in Franklin Square, Long Island with her husband and son.
