Progga Deb is a worker with the Help Desk at Adelphi.
The staff of the Office of Information Technology would like to congratulate Progga Deb as the November 2018 IT Student Worker of the Month.
Deb is a junior majoring in computer science and works for the Help Desk.
Here are some of the comments we received from IT staff members and other student workers who nominated her:
“Having worked with Progga this semester she has shown exemplary initiative, leadership characteristics and most of all dependability. Progga is a hard-working self-starter. Get is able to get things done swiftly and efficiently. She is well respected, as both a person and a professional, by her peers, staff and faculty she services on campus. Progga would be an asset to any position she holds, and I am happy to give her my endorsement.”
“Progga joined the helpdesk team in May of 2018. She is a junior enrolled in the dual degree program with The Fu Foundation School of Engineering & Applied Science with Columbia University. Progga learned the ropes very fast and started mentoring other students all along the way. She has a natural ability to explain complex issues to others in a way they can easily understand. She is always happy to help others in any way she can and truly provides service with a smile.”
