Dear Class of 2020,

I am so proud to honor the resilient Class of 2020! With your entire Adelphi family, I am thrilled to celebrate you today—what would have been your Commencement Day.

As our Graduate Student Council President Aaiza Naumann said so well, “Class of 2020, you are unbreakable.” I share that sentiment. We are inspired and amazed by you. You have persevered through the most unusual final semester any Adelphi class has ever known and demonstrated what remarkable determination looks like.

Until the time that we can gather safely to witness you cross the Commencement stage in your Adelphi robes, we celebrate this outstanding milestone of yours—virtually, of course.
