Dear Adelphi Community,
We are pleased to announce Adelphi’s Commencement plans to celebrate our Class of 2022.
Adelphi University will hold a traditional in-person Commencement ceremony on Monday, May 23, at Nassau Live Center, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in Uniondale, New York.
Our Doctoral Hooding Ceremony for eligible PhD candidates will be held Sunday, May 22, at the Westermann Stage in the Concert Hall of the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center.
Given the ongoing and unpredictable nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, decisions on some details will be made later in the Spring 2022 semester, allowing us to ensure that the most appropriate health and safety protocols are in place at the time of Commencement. This includes the number of tickets each graduate will receive and any requirements regarding masking, distancing, and COVID-19 vaccination and testing.
These determinations will be made in consultation with Adelphi’s health and safety experts and in accordance with official guidance and requirements. We will share all updates with the community when available.
Graduating students should be aware of important upcoming dates and steps to be taken in order to complete the journey to graduation. Please visit Adelphi’s Commencement website for announcements and the most current information on deadlines, requirements and details about our Commencement plans. This site will be updated continually and offers answers to many commonly asked questions. We will also be in touch with graduates and their family members with important announcements by email.
