Working together with Faculty members, the Project Management Office, Facilities, and the Office of Information Technology, we’ve upgraded 12 classrooms with state of the art technology. Keeping in line with the University’s strategic plan, we are continuing to modernize the current design of our teaching spaces. An emphasis on Strategic Goal 1 stating an emphasis on world-class academics, and Strategic Goal 2 stating a relentless focus on student success. The new design has upgraded our technology for digital media presentation with an upgrade to video and audio quality. We changed the orientation in a number of rooms creating a better line of sight. We’ve also continued our green initiative in installing lampless projectors throughout the campus reducing our carbon footprint.
The rooms that have been upgraded are located in Hagedorn Hall on the 2nd floor. Rooms: 201, 204, 206, 208, 209, 210, 211, 213, 214, 215, 216, and 217. We’ve also added the ability to lecture capture and video conferencing in rooms 204 and 216. Room 302 in the Social Work building has been updated with a centrally located TV and the ability to do video conferencing.
