After graduating from medical school, Agrawal continued his training in surgery, at Delhi University in India, obtaining a Master of Surgery in 1978.
After graduating from medical school, Arun K. Agrawal continued his training in surgery, at Delhi University in India obtaining a Master of Surgery in 1978.
He moved to London, UK, and trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery passing the highly prestigious FRCS (Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons) examination in 1981.
In 1982 he joined Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia, as Fellow in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
He is also a FICS (Fellow of International College of Surgeons) and DAAPM (Diplomat American Academy of Pain Management). As recently as 2012 he obtained MBA from Adelphi University.
