I am a bilingual Licensed Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with underserved communities. I am honored to be part of the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program. I look forward to being able to provide supportive services and
emotional support to those diagnosed with breast cancer and their families. No one should ever face cancer alone. It is my goal to ensure that those we serve have access to the necessary tools and information they need to make informed decisions about their care and feel
supported and empowered throughout their journey.
Prior to joining the Breast Cancer Program, I worked at one of the largest settlement houses in New York City overseeing a team of social workers providing geriatric care management and caregiver support services to older adults and families. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from SUNY Plattsburgh.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching reruns of Gilmore Girls, and being outdoors.
