Beginning fall 2018, the new minor in global politics will shed light on interactions between governments, international organizations, corporations, communities and individuals on the world stage.
Starting in the fall of 2018, Adelphi students will have a new way to gain a deeper understanding of the political dynamics that shape our world. The new minor in global politics will provide insights into politics as it is practiced in regions around the world and shed light on interactions between governments, international organizations, corporations, communities and individuals on the world stage. It’s an education that will give students new perspectives on complex global issues, while preparing them for lives of engaged citizenship and careers in business, education, law, advocacy, government and many other fields.
“Having a global perspective is important in so many fields these days,” said Traci Levy, Ph.D., associate professor and chair of the political science department. “Students can get that perspective—and a new ability to understand and analyze world issues—by minoring in global politics.”
