Since 2013, Adelphi University has prepared students to make a difference in children's lives through sports and physical activity. Students pursuing an MS in Sport Management or MA in Physical Activity Studies have the opportunity to enhance their graduate experience through Adelphi's hands-on Sport-Based Youth Development specialization.

Despite grueling schedules, our scholar-athletes continue to lead academically among all Northeast-10 institutions. Finishing first in Fall 2020, they've taken the top spot in eight of the past 11 semesters—winning in their sports and their studies.

In polls conducted by Campus Recreation this past summer and fall, students voiced their preference for in-person fitness classes and more access to the fitness center, said Linda Gundrum, MS '86, director. In response, Campus Rec is responding to these requests with more in-person classes, new pop-up intramural activities and expanded hours for the fitness center for Spring 2021.
