The National Science Foundation (NSF) Division of Undergraduate Education has awarded Adelphi University and Principal Investigator Andrea Ward, PhD, associate provost for research and special projects, a $2.49 million grant for the “Ensuring STEM Student Success Through an Integrative Support Program.”

In January, Adelphi University's Ruth S. Harley University Center (UC) reopened after a two-year renovation and expansion project.

Students who have spent the past year learning remotely will notice a few changes on campus when they return. Among them is the Ruth S. Harley University Center (UC), which reopened in June after it was closed for renovation a little over a year ago. With expanded dining and meeting areas already in use, there are still a few new additions coming to the UC next year.

Students at Adelphi and across the country are coming together, along with the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and the American Council on Education, in calling for a doubling of Federal Pell Grants for undergraduate students in need of financial support.
