The Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program has been awarded a significant five-year grant by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to establish a groundbreaking program aimed at providing support and enhancing the quality of life for young women diagnosed with breast cancer, as well as metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patients and their families. 

The program heads into October with a new campaign: “When Survivors Unite, Hope Ignites!”

The Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Program is forming a new online support group for individuals diagnosed with breast cancer within the past 18-months.

During National Social Work Month, the program, part of the Adelphi University School of Social Work, thanks to the social workers on staff, introduces text messaging and asks for all of us to speak out to keep this vital program going strong.
