25th Annual Golf Classic Raises More Than $151,000 for Student Athletic Scholarships

Adelphi’s 25th Annual Golf Classic at the Hempstead Golf and Country Club was a rousing success, as more than 200 participants raised more than $151,000 in support of Adelphi’s scholarships for student-athletes. The day’s honorees were Lackmann Culinary Services and Adelphi Trustee Angela M. Jaggar ’62, M.A. ’65. Special recognition was given to Robert E. Hartwell on the occasion of his retirement as assistant vice president and director of intercollegiate athletics and recreation after nearly 26 years with the University.
