Suggest an Item for Purchase
Adelphi Libraries welcome recommendations for materials to purchase in service of research and instruction.
Do We Already Own or Have Access to It?
First, search our catalog using OneSearch to see if we already own an item. If you can’t find what you are looking for, you may still be able to borrow a copy. See if we can get it for you through our Interlibrary Borrowing (Interlibrary Loan) service if you need the item for personal research.
Request Purchase of Materials for the Library Collection
The Request for Library Resources form helps faculty request that the Libraries purchase specific resources for the collection. The tool leads you through a series of questions, links you to the appropriate forms, and provides guidance depending on your needs. Contact your Library liaison for more information.
Request Purchase of Materials for Course Reserves
Please see the Reading Lists LibGuide for information on how to request course reserves and create and manage reading lists for courses. Contact userservices@adelphi.edu if you have any questions about requesting materials for courses.
