eSignature services facilitate secure and efficient electronic signing of documents, streamlining workflows and reducing the need for physical signatures.
Documents can be signed electronically from various formats, such as Word, Excel, PDF, and other common file types. Signatures may be applied directly within a system or captured from integrated applications and web-based platforms. Multiple eSignature solutions are available to meet diverse needs, ensuring flexibility and compatibility with various workflows.
Available eSignature Options:
- Acrobat: Provides robust PDF management and eSignature self-signing capabilities, allowing users to sign documents directly within Acrobat.
- Acrobat with Adobe Sign: Integrates the power of Acrobat with Adobe Sign, enabling users to request and collect signatures faster and track document status in real-time. Adobe Sign can be used where HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA and FDA 21 CFR part 11 compliance is required.
- Google Signatures: Built into Google Workspace, this option allows users to request and manage electronic signatures directly from Google Docs and Google Drive.
The eSignature service supports the University’s goals of modernizing business processes, enhancing document security, and reducing paper processing and production costs.
