Display video and presentations on a large screen with interactive capabilities.

SMART boards are used for displaying applications such as video and presentations on a large screen, allow users to annotate onto the surface using a digital pen and save notes in electronic format.

SMART boards use proprietary software called “Notebook” which is used for content creation and display on a real SMART board.

The SMART board interactive whiteboard is a touch-sensitive display that connects to your computer and digital projector. Using a finger, you can control computer applications, write notes, pull up charts and images, search the Internet, play videos and save your work.

The latest models come with a Touch Recognition feature, which allows you to switch modes automatically. You can write with a pen, erase with your palm and move objects with your finger without having to access other tools, buttons or on-screen menus.

SMART Notebook software sets the standard for creating, delivering and managing interactive lessons within a single application.

The SMART boards CANNOT be used as dry-erase boards.

Visit the FCPE site for information on downloading SMART Notebook software.
