What We Do
Encouraging spiritual awareness for all who seek it.
The Interfaith Center provides a welcoming space for those seeking spiritual worship and guidance. The center houses the offices of the Catholic, Jewish, Muslim and Protestant chaplains. Religious programs, lectures, discussion group, prayer and services are offered to the Adelphi community on a scheduled basis.
If you are looking for opportunities to participate in spiritual worship, seek religious guidance or give back to the community, the center can help you find various ways to get involved and volunteer.
University Memorials and Grief Counseling:
The Interfaith Center and its chaplains are available to assist with community memorial services and/or remembrance ceremonies upon request. These services and/or ceremonies provide the opportunity for the university community to acknowledge and mourn the individual or community loss.
Spiritual Counseling:
The chaplains of the interfaith center are available to assist students who are seeking individual and group spiritual counseling and education. Spiritual growth can be an essential path to student success as it focuses on finding a life purpose, overcoming obstacles, grief guidance and offering different spiritual paths.
