Institutional Research
Providing a high-level and accurate view of University-wide data metrics and systems
The Office of Institutional Research and Strategic Analytics is responsible for generating reports that comply with mandated federal and state reporting requirements and updating and maintaining University data in order to understand educational trends and comparisons. The office investigates and reports comparative benchmark data and uses visualization and analytical tools in order to assist University leadership, faculty and staff in gaining insights and understanding current trends across the educational landscape. This includes collecting and reporting historical and current data and information about finances, fund allocation, external rankings and publications and providing guidance in the external program review and accreditation processes. The scope of data and reports produced impact students from admissions to graduation (including academic learning and non-academic factors such as financial aid), faculty recruitment to retention, diversity, equity and inclusion, alumni, and community partners and all school systems, processes and procedures. A majority of the research, analytical studies and reports are disseminated to the Board of Trustees, University leadership, School Deans, program faculty and staff and all pertinent University constituents.
