The need for access to behavioral health is critical, and growing. In response, Adelphi offers the IDEATE Fellowship—focused on building skills in integrated behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, and transitional youth in New York.
We guide our Fellows and alumni through the complexities of the behavioral health landscape, helping them navigate career opportunities and professional growth within health systems across the tri-state area.

Celebrating the IDEATE Fellowship’s Workforce Development Success
We are proud of the strides we’ve made in building a stronger behavioral healthcare workforce.
All past and current IDEATE cohort members were invited to Adelphi’s Garden City campus to interface with recruitment and talent acquisition teams from across our broad network of behavioral health practicum partnerships. IDEATE members were given an opportunity to learn about behavioral healthcare professional roles at many of the major local health systems and agencies including Montefiore Einstein, Northwell Health, NYC Health and Hospitals, US Navy, Episcopal Health Services and more. IDEATE Fellowship members and alumni were also given access to take updated free professional headshots.
All current and past IDEATE cohort members were invited to participate in a virtual behavioral health workforce event entitled “IDEATE & NYC Health and Hospitals – Navigating Behavioral Health Careers in the Public Sector” on Zoom.
