International Student Employees
International students should first contact International Services who will work with you to obtain a social security card or, if you already have one, will work with you to obtain all other proper documents needed.
International Services provides in-depth On-Campus Employment information for students holding F-1/J-1 status at Adelphi.
Paperwork and Onboarding Steps
Once you have completed all of the necessary paperwork, you will be asked to visit the Office of Human Resources. Before you arrive, please complete the following:
Complete Section 1 Only, Print and Sign in ink the Employment Eligibility Verification โ Form I-9.
Read Adelphi Universityโs FERPA policy.
Print and Sign theย FERPA Acknowledgement.
Print, Read and Sign the Drug-Free Workplace and Community Act Agreement.
Print and Complete in ink the Direct Deposit Notice.
Important! Please attach either a voided check, deposit slip, bank statement or bank letter as documentation of your account. Documentation must have the imprint of your name and account number for every account listed.

- Student Employment Time Card Procedures
- Sick Leave Policy
- Statement of Rights โ Disability Benefits Law
- Classification of Employees
- Adelphi University Policies, Rules and Standards Regarding Illicit Drugs and Alcohol
Then Print and Sign the Student Employment – Acknowledgement Receipt.
